BACKEND ENGINEER 

CONTRACT | FULL-TIME | BERLIN | HYBRID

Awesome Prototype (Berlin) is seeking an experienced Backend engineer to join our team full-time. We are looking for someone to help extend and maintain our backend framework (golang), optimize our server deployments, and implement game logic on the server.

 

We value personal communication, and we like seeing each other in person. We also understand a need for flexibility; hence, we prefer a mix of office and remote work.

Skills you have 

• 5+ years of relevant experience

• Experience crafting modern server architecture

• Experience carrying a senior role responsibility

• Solid understanding of databases, their pros/cons and optimization strategies

• Experience with k8s and docker

• Fluent in German or English

 

Responibilities

• Maintain our clusters and cloud services

• Extend backend framework written in Golang

• Implement business logic in tandem with other devs

• Design server architecture for new solutions
